Around here, homecoming is more than a game. It's a tradition built from school pride, family photos, and a whole lot of ribbon.
We started Laredo Mum Co. to give local students a mum that feels as personal as the memories behind it. Every loop, braid, flower, and bell is placed by hand with care—never pulled from a shelf.

Ordering & pricing
How much does a custom mum or garter typically cost?
Pricing varies by design complexity. As a starting point: Classic Mums start around $85, Senior Statement designs start around $150, and Garters start around $65. We'll always confirm a final price with you before starting your order.
Do you require a deposit to start my order?
Yes—we ask for a 50% deposit to reserve your spot and begin sourcing materials. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, and Cash App. Payment details are shared once your design is confirmed.
Timing
How far in advance should I place my order?
We recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks before your homecoming date, especially during September and October when we book up fastest.
What's the typical turnaround time?
Most orders take 1–2 weeks to complete once the design is approved, depending on how detailed the piece is.
Do you take last-minute or rush orders?
Sometimes—rush orders depend on our current workload and may include a rush fee. Message us and we'll let you know if we can make it happen.
Customization
Can you match any school's colors, not just maroon and gold?
Absolutely—we've made mums for schools across Laredo and South Texas in every color combination imaginable.
What's the difference between the Classic Mum, Senior Statement, and Homecoming Garter?
The Classic Mum is a single-flower design with personalized ribbons and charms. The Senior Statement is our most elaborate option, with extra layers, braids, and senior-year details. The Garter is a compact, wearable option with the same craftsmanship in a smaller silhouette.
Can I add my own charms, photos, or keepsakes to the design?
Yes! We love incorporating personal items like photo charms, jersey numbers, small stuffed animals, or family heirlooms into your design.
How big or heavy is a finished mum?
Size depends on the style—Classic Mums are made to be comfortable for a full night of wear, while Senior Statement mums are larger and more elaborate. We build every piece to be wearable, not just for photos.
Pickup & logistics
Where and how do I pick up my order?
Pickup is by appointment in Laredo, TX. We'll coordinate a time and location that works for you as your homecoming date approaches.
Do you offer delivery, or is it pickup only?
Local pickup only at this time. If you're outside the Laredo area, reach out and we'll see what we can arrange.
After homecoming
How do I store or preserve my mum afterward?
Keep it out of direct sunlight and store it flat or hanging in a garment bag to help the ribbons and flowers keep their shape for years to come.
